The Adamstown Fire Company is a 100% volunteer fire department responsible for protecting Adamstown Borough and surrounding areas in Northeast Lancaster County and Berks County, PA. Volunteers respond from home, work or wherever they may be all hours of day and night, 365 days a year providing both emergency and non-emergency assistance. They have been proudly serving for over 150 years. The Department is located at 30 S. Poplar Street.
Programs
The Fire Department also strives to improve the quality of life for Borough residents by providing public education, ongoing training for firefighters and fund raisers.
Goals
The primary goals of the Fire Department are to:
- Reduce and prevent the loss of life and property damage
- Improve the outcome of patients
- Quickly rescue trapped victims
- Protect the environment from destruction
- Offer fire safety and education to its residents
