The borough office, which is temporarily located inside the Adamstown Area Library at 110 W. Main Street, is currently open from Monday through Thursday from 9:30AM to 1:30PM or by appointment only. In the case of life-threatening emergency, we will dispatch a fire truck along with an EMS unit to provide extra assistance since all of our personnel are trained to provide at least Basic Life Support.Fire Department

Open burning shall be allowed without prior notification to the code official for recreational fires (an outdoor fire utilized to cook food for human consumption), highway safety flares, smudge pots and similar occupational needs.Fire Department
Parks & Recreation

The park or "grove" is at the west end of town, between the swimming pool and elementary school. This is a public park open to all. There is a kitchen, pavilion and restrooms, all handicap accessible, that are available to rent for reunions or picnics for a non-refundable fee of $100 which is required to be paid in full at the time of the reservation. There is also a $10 deposit required for the grove keys, which will be refunded when the keys are returned.
