Ephrata Social Services works together with both the unemployed and with corporations to find jobs for those who are currently unemployable and are able to receive the training and skills that they need to become good, sustainable employees. They also provide a rental assistance program which is social services working with property owners and municipalities to help those who need financial assistance. 

REAL Life Community Services provides social services.  They utilize resources from the county, state and federal government as well as grants.  They provide many services including affordable housing above their offices as well as a youth center in town and a home for mothers coming out of homelessness as well as offering social services and mentoring to them.  They also provide a food service program among other community services.  Assistance in paying utility bills is also offered.  More information about this organization could be found at www.reallcs.org.
